The Gung-Ho 5k Challenge
On Saturday 17th, 2017 ,Marni Prevost took part in the “Gung-Ho” 5k challenge in Southampton. Raising money for BBC Children in Need by organising a charity curry night at The Princess Cottage Restaurant in Bagshot on Tuesday 13th June, 2017. The event was hosted by Cllr Abu Bakar who with his staff and culinary skills prepared a special three course set menu, with a prize draw on the night.

In total the event raised £1393.00 to go towards Welcome Break £70,000.00 challenge. The event was attended by Children’s in Need “Pudsey Bear” and 44 attendees who helped to raise our total by purchasing raffle tickets, sponsorship and support this great cause by reserving tables in advance.
The Princess Cottage Restaurant kindly donated £10.00 for every seat reserved, raising a total of £440.00 in total. We would like to thank all the local companies and people who donated prizes for the event.
