NAPOLANGELES is a mix of Mediterranean and West Coast sounds. The protagonists are Flavio Piscopo and James Thompson.Flavio Piscopo and James Thompson.

“TALE OF TWO CITIES”. Two musicians from different musical extractions who create an interesting and spontaneous sound combining the Mediterranean rhythms and singing of Flavio with the breezy West Coast soul / jazz of James’ voice, sax and flute.

Napolangeles offers a fresh and open ended musical experience; , with its interloping styles and colors, they are a fresh sound and a musical voyage that shouldn’t be missed!

Flavio Piscopo is a singer and percussionist from the city of Naples, and has collaborated with internationally acclaimed musicians like Joe Amoruso, Bob Berg, Mike Stern, Dom Um Romao, Antonio Marangolo and many others. He is also an instructor of percussion at the Academy of Modern Music of Modena and the AMF of Ferrara. (http://http://www.flaviopiscopo.com/)

James Thompson is a singer, multi instrumentalist and songwriter. His main axes are tenor, alto and soprano sax, and flute He hails from Los Angeles, CA, and has lived in Italy since the ‘80’s.

He is known for his partecipation in the recording studio and world tours with Zucchero Fornaciari as well as collaborations with Paolo Conte, Stadio, Spagna, Jestofunk, Timoria, Tommy Vee and others. He has also performed at prestigious festivals and concerts like The Montreaux Jazz Festival, Rock am Ring in Germany and venues such as The House of Blues in LA, The Royal Albert Hall of London, Beacon Theater in NYC and The Kremlin.
